Leadership

Frank Hanson, President/ Chair
Frank was born in Ghana and immigrated to the United States as a young man. He is a 10-year veteran high school teacher and an up and coming educational leader in the Career and Technical Education movement in the state of Delaware. Frank remembers growing up in Ghana and seeing his female peers forced to take a back seat when it came to educational opportunities. As he grew up, he learned his mother had to endure the same thing; she didn’t even have the opportunity to graduate from high school, yet used her experience as a catalyst to make sure all his siblings graduated from college. Frank established this organization as a way to pay to give girls an opportunity to flourish and inspire the next generation of learners, continuing his personal philanthropy to the female students of Ghana by offering the opportunity his mother never had.
